The community of Orange today woke to a real treat – the best snowfall in about 40 years, but also the coldest day of the year! Blankets of snow covered buildings, cars and gardens and our Preschool was no different. How special it was to see our garden sculptures and cubby houses glistening with gorgeous, silky snow. Vick helped the children to build a large snowman, while other children brazenly lay in the fluffy layers of snow to make snow angels. Of course, there was also lots of snow ball fights. To complete our celebrations, the children were served hot chocolate to warm up their bodies as the snow continued to fall outdoors.
